weekends

last weekend, jason's parents came to see us. as you can see, we went to the butterfly museum, then we went to a HUGE hole in Gainesville. great weekend. this weekend...well, jason has a test on Monday, so it has been quite less eventful. he is studyin hard.

fun night out

two weekends ago, jason's class had a med-school ball. well, it cost $30/person to go, so w/ our budget, that was not going to happen. well, the day before the ball, the secretary of the department was talking w/ jason and when she found out he wasn't going because we couldn't afford tickets, she got really excited because she had two tickets she had been trying to get rid of!

so here is us at the ball. we had a great time. :o)

after the race

well..after the race saturday morning...after running like mad men...we relaxed for the rest of the day. this was a beautiful park we found down the street we were staying on.

We did it! We actually completed a 15K (9.3miles). it was a killer....but the Lord helped us to push through. Jason pushed pretty hard and his body suffered for it. He completed #250 out of 10,000 runners, though. God has been good and he has recovered pretty well now. I ran it in 1hr and 27 minutes. it was intense. it is amazing to have done it, though. i still can't beleive it. We had a great weekend, and our love for eachother grew.

last weekend

i had a great time with my girls in Atlanta last weekend. my cousin, bethany, just got married and moved just down the street from elizabeth! so we stayed at bethany & eric's place for the weekend...got starbucks, went shopping, got pedicures, and TALKED forever! that was the best part, though.
