headed home soon!

Jason has his three last tests of the semester this friday, and then we are headed home for the break!! As you read this, pray that God will be with Jason as he has a very large load to study before Friday.

it is Jason's birthday today!!!
we celebrated on Saturday night, though. i made his favorite dinner...chicken parmesan, then we went on a date to starbucks! woohoo! :o) after that we rented "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", then we went home, openend up gifts and then watched the movie and had lots of dessert! we had a very fun night.

this friday is jason's last test of the semester. can you believe they are giving a test on the 23rd of december! that is Christmas Eve Eve! well, anyway...he is excited about being almost half way done with his second year. it is a very tough year, but he has done SO well with the loads of studying. he says he enjoys what he is learning about! all the glory goes to the Lord, though. neither of us could do this without Him as our strength and foundation.

over the weekend...

thank you so much for all of you who prayed for Jason as he took his tests this past weekend. the Lord blessed him so much and Jason did very well! :o) so by the time he was done with his tests on Saturday, it was time to celebrate! so we cut his hair. i know...we get pretty crazy with our celebrating around here! ;o) then we took off to the mall to actually do some Christmas shopping TOGETHER! after that, we went and got our very first Christmas tree together (Jason's first time to go Christmas tree hunting!), so it was all very exciting.
i took a bunch of pictures of us bringing home our tree...so i will try and put those up tonight!
