an amazing view

unforgettable

last night, as we sat three rows back from the stage, i felt like i could reach out and touch nickel creek as they astounded me with their talent. they were SO amazing and we were so close it was un-real. sarah (the girl who plays the fiddle) had on the CUTEST shoes!

at the end, their bass player, Mark, tap danced. We all cheered so loud after they left the stage, that they came back out and played about 5 more songs!!!! one of which was a solo by Chris on his mandolin playing a 7 minute peice by Bach! it was the most incredible thing i ever saw.

anyway, the concert went from 7:30 to 11:00pm! it was so great. i took a bunch of pics with my tiny little camera, so if any of them came out, i will post some. :o)

they are just all over!

as i grow older, so does my world. it is crazy having so many friends in so many differnt places. timmy is in monte carlo, jess is in england, and lisa is in alaska! i only wish plane tickets were a tad (that is a huge tad, by the way) cheaper.

never did ice-cream taste quite so good as it did Monday night. After giving up desserts for lent, Jason and i celebrated Christ's resurrection with a HUGE mound of ice cream! Just a little picture of the delights of heaven. ;o)

not too much is new, but i did start a pottery class monday! today will be my 2nd class. i never got to take pottery in school (one of the few art classes i didn't get around to!), so i am taking it now as a "Community Education Class." :o) it is a ton of women. about 3 are my age, the rest are anywhere from 45-65. it will be great. :o) i'm excited about it.

that is about the only new thing going on. jason has a big test monday, and the first board exam gets closer and closer (june 28th). yikes! he is doing great, though!

woo hoo!!!!!!

gainesville was in a crazy uproar last night as our basketball team took the national title! we spanked ucla.
i have never heard so many horns honking as jason and i drove home at midnight after the game. at one stop light, 3 guys piled out of a car...one ran all the way down the line of cars getting high fives, one danced on top of the car, and the other just ran around crazy-like....unfortunately, the one who ran down the line of cars got left behind when the light changed. hahah! it was a crazy lot of screaming, yelling, horn blowing, and the like.
