my cousin is famous

i have to brag on my cousin...bethany...who i had the pleasure of eating lunch with prior to her saturday night performance.

to catch you up...

after the "blast to the past" trip to PA, things have been busy, but pretty much routine...here is what was out of routine:

1. Interviewed for a photographer's assistant position.
however, this turned out to be more of a "go get my coffee" type of assistant job rather than one where i would be assisting mostly in photography. so needless to say, that didn't work out so well...but it DID inspire me to take more photographs!

2. Jason finished his internal medicine rotation!
he took an extremely hard and time pressured test on Friday to finish out the rotation, then had a full 3 1/2 days off (labor day weekend)!! so we packed it full with doing a 20mile bike ride, road trip to st. augustin with a couple from church,inviting people over for a Sunday lunch, racing around the UF track, hanging out at Boarders Book Store, and eating out with the team he was on rotation with. it was a good weekend.

3. Jason starts Surgery rotation. (dun, dun, dun, dun...duuunnnn)
surgery started monday and he has already seen a few surgeries. he gets up at 4:30am and is not home until ~6-7pm...then he hits the books until about 10pm.

4. Coming up...Women's Retreat!
next weekend (Sept. 14-17) i will be in Atlanta with a few friends/women from church. we are going to a conference in the downtown area. my cousin and i plan to catch up and hang out while i am in town...not to mention retrieve the clothes i left behind at her place the last time i was there. unfortunately for me, my dear friend luzzy will not be in town (she is in england). :o(
